About Me

Don’t let the name fool ya.  My comments are posted (usually) from the kitchen table, but my opinions and thoughts are from 40+ years of being out in the world.  Foolishness, mayhem, mistakes….oh yeah, but when you learn and grow from your experiences, someday, it eventually becomes wisdom.  Now, I may not have become wise yet, but I have learned from an awful lot of mistakes.  My number one lesson has been to quit trying to steer my ship, I have to let God take over the helm (is that correct ship verbage??? – you get what I am saying……)   This has not been easy for a strong-willed, rebellious person such as ME, but in the potter’s hands, He can create soemthing wonderful.  So that’s who I am trying to be – the person God wants me to be.  

Now, please understand, I still have strong opinions and sometimes, I may get on a rant and say something I shouldn’t – don’t hold it against God, I am still a work in progress.  My goal is to think things through prior to posting – we’ll give it a try

I have 7 children ages 27 – 3 years, and a 3 year old grandson – yes, we were pregnant together just like Father of the Bride 2.  I am married to the most awesome man on earth, loving, patient, kind and walking with God.  My life is surely better than I deserve. 

So, my views from the kitchen table are my thoughts, my concerns, my joys as I look at life as I sit here, prior to, (or during and after) jumping into it all for the day.
